Anybody been to this lately? Wondering how many venders are there and if it's worth going. Thanks

It's worth checking out on a Thursday night and the crowds will show up if the weather is good.

It's the 2nd biggest farmer's market in the metro outside of the acclaimed downtown farmer's market in downtown DSM.

My husband makes furniture, like backless benches and settees out of wild hedge wood he reclaims from the fields. They are truly something to see, they are all made by hand tools, no machines or sandpaper. Anyhow, we were thinking of taking them up to Valley Junc. farmers market, it is a 110 mile trip one way for us. We live in Taylor Co. so it is quite a jaunt for us in our old station wagon. Who is in charge of it, and would it be worth it for us, not many people look for our product and it is kind of pricey. What does everyone think, is it worth it to try?

Off the top of my head I'd figure it would take a couple of consecutive trips to break even. I don't think many people have buying furniture in mind when they go there, but if they know you're there, it might change things.
