Also, their owner is the only one to see, but she's always booked for months.

I found one other salon on a website (naturallycurly.com) that everyone is oohing over, but I haven't had the guts to go in. It's called Shapes and they are in Lodo/Highlands, or Lo-Hi. They specialize in the New York-invented style Deva. Every stylist has trained in New Yorka the Devachan salon. I'm thinking about going there. Shapes Salon and Studio: a Denver, Colorado salon specializing in Schwarzkopf hair color and curly hair.

If you are looking for a black black salon, there are tons on east colfax, up by East High. Hope this helps.
I'm half black too and I'm moving to Denver in a few weeks. What do you usually get done? I'm sad to leave my hairstylist here in Minneapolis - she usually relaxes my hair and I had fusions for about a year too. White salons are usually too weak for me (for relaxers) and black ones are too strong.

Do you go anywhere else other than Indigo and Shapes (the expensive one you mentioned)?? I recently found Babooshka on Yelp (thanks to rave reviews) but I'm not sure if they have experience in my type of hair...

it's hard to find locs in salons here I think. Rumors (denver) has a loctician.
Hi I'm looking to get really good sister locks? Can I have your locticians contact information? And do you happen to have pictures of your hair that you don't mind sharing...
Thanks

There's a huge black salon called the Hairmasters salon and barbershop inside of the beauty supply warehouse off of I-225 and 6th ave in Aurora. They have a ton of of stylists and barbers in there. Their number is 720 862 3622. I found out that they do locs in there too.
