Yes, a highly recommended item in their cafeteria.

Funny, there was a day when big stores always had a cafeteria. Hell, 50+ years ago my mom worked in the cafeteria at the big Montgomery Wards in Baltimore, on Monroe Street. Those were the days....

I bought a toy storage unit for my kids' room about two/three years ago. It is in the shape of stairs, imagine a three year old boy's joy at figuring that out. I have moved it from room to room, and it is in great shape.

The problem I have with IKEA is what my husband dislikes as well: the furniture is only as good as the person who puts it together.

If anyone bought furniture from IKEA expecting Ethan Allen quality furniture, they need a reality check. It doesn't appear that many people do, though.

To each their own.

Now I'm worried - I work about a half mile from this location and traffic has been getting worse over the years (7 years to be exact) .... especially after they built those s*%$#! condos on Dry Creek ... not looking forward to the drive to work ....

The sign LIGHTS UP now, as if it wasn't visible enough. It's a giant cobalt blue building for goodness sake. There's no missing it.

The problem I find with their stuff is that it looks cool and fun in the Ikea store, but usually ridiculous when you put it in your living room. The kids stuff is great - cheap bedding, picture frames etc., but that poäng just looks silly next to your grandmother's coffee table.

I have a 110-year-old cherry dressing table in my bedroom and an antique game board hanging on my family room wall, both of which came from my grandparent's house. What's wrong with that? Swedish contemporary isn't the only way to furnish an attractive house.

Nothing at all... I'm just thinking of the ugly 70s furniture my grandmother has If your home is more traditional in furniture style, IKEA wouldn't be for you. But I'm going to pick up some new stemless wine glasses from IKEA soon... as I recall they're very cheap.
