wait, she found Denver to be the bible belt or atlanta? Denver can be the bible belt depending where you are. If you are single you want to move into the city and not out to a suburb like Littleton.

I'm on Match.com and have been having a blast with the dating. Another friend is using OKCupid.

But there are so many other events and activities where you can meet people here. Just not a fan of meeting guys in bars - I'm usually out with friends and want to spend time with THEM, not some random person who just showed up.

Bible belt ? Wow, she must be living somewhere in the suburbs. I've never heard Denver described as bible belt.

Maybe she should spend some time in Boulder. Won't see a bible in those parts.

I moved to Denver at 27 and found it to be a fantastic place to be young and single. Because there are so many transplants, it seems like everyone is looking to make friends. There are lots of public events here, and in general people who move to Colorado are very active so it's easy to meet people.

Also if she's looking to meet a nice young man, we refer to it as "menver" for a reason...

Just like you I moved here when I was 28 and I was single. I was married by 30. I had so much fun when I first moved here. Meeting new people in a new place.

The average age in Highlands Ranch is actually lower than Denver to all the people who think "the city" is the only place you can meet people

"Average" age includes all of the humans who live in an area, including the babies/children; in Highlands Ranch that's significant. In the "young" Denver neighborhoods, it's not.

If you have 3 (30) year old couples, each with 2 young children, your average age is going to be lower.

Average age by itself doesn't tell you everything.
