Hi - I'm coming to Colorado over Thanksgiving weekend to check everything out because I'm moving there in the spring. Any recommendations of a decent hotel with a nice view (not downtown)???

Also, any weather predictions for that weekend?
I appreciate your help!

CO weather is far too unpredictable to forecast out that far. It could be beautiful and sunny or we could have 12" of snow on the ground. Best to start watching the weather reports a few days before you come.

gpraceman is absolutely correct.

Also, the Westin Westminster (near the Westmintster Promenade, 104th Avenue @ US-36) has unparalleled views. Of course, they're also the only building over 10 floors for several miles in any direction.

The Omni at Interlocken in Broomfield is also a tall building in the northwestern suburbs. You'd have a great view. Had a Thanksgiving blizzard once, the weekend my nieghbor got married. I think she arrived at the church in a pickup truck full of snow in the bed!

Interlocken is actually a better suggestion. That area has really amazing views to the west. Not sure, but the Westin might have better views of the downtown area if you care about that.

I agree more with your suggestion of the Westin in Westminster, it has a nice walkway to the entertainment of the promenade center with nice restaurants, ice arena and it sits near the big Westminster City Park. While the Interlocken is in a business park, albeit a very nice business park and close proximity to the Flatirons Mall.
