Does anyone here live in a home built by New Town Builders, Park Wood or Wonderland or know someone who does?

Could you share your experience, opinions on them? Thank you.

I don't, but many of my neighbors do. I haven't heard any complaints about homes built by them, and they all seem to do a great job with building traditionally styled homes.

I live in a New Town and love my house. I've had a few problems, but not any more than I've had in other production built homes. Problems I had were fixed under warranty. Most of my neighbors who have New Towns are happy with theirs as well. There have been a few issues with insulation (lack of it in the right places) and with the furnaces--the ignitors going out, more of a problem in earlier New Towns in my neighborhood which were built in 2001-2004, I doubt they still use the same furnace. Other than that, I haven't heard any major complaints and there are about 80 New Town houses in my neighborhood.

Thanks for the responses. We visited their model homes in Stapleton last week and were quite impressed by the designs.

Anyone else?
Do you know of web-sites that have reviews of builders?
I found one GuildQuality: Customer Satisfaction Surveying & Performance Reporting for Builders, Remodelers, Developers | Texas that has reviews on wonderland and park wood homes.

My New Town home is great. Floorplan is just what we wanted. the extra bonus was that solar electric was included. we are saving over $300 a month on our electric bills. didn't know i'd care about solar until we had it and saw the savings. the house is built well and we've had no problems. only wish we'd waited to buy over at central park west.

Default New Town Builder is the worst

Lot complaints about new town builders. They reduced their warranty to structure only and for 1 year.
Worse, they claim to offer $20k incentive but they don't accept your offer for long time and as soon as they receive a new offer with more upgrade and less incentives, they sell it.
They did it twice for me.
Don't waste your time with new town builders.
