Feedback on this city is needed. Spoke with my cousin today and she suggested this area and Arvada. The commute to Commerce City wouldn't be bad in either town. Any feedback on both would be appreciated. I am looking at their website at the moment.

Stapleton is not a city, it is a neighborhood within the city of Denver.

Without knowing more about what you are looking for it is hard to give you any more feedback. I can't think of too many similarities between the Stapleton neighborhood and Arvada which encompasses a very large and diverse area off the top of my head, so I would suggest we start earlier in the process and you let us know what sorts of things you want and don't want. If you can include price range that will really help.

We are going to need an apartment. Somewhere in the $1500 range for a 2bd/2bth. We have a first grader so we'd like decent school zones. We aren't planning on bldg since we will be relocation again after 3 years or so.

Not too many apartments in Denver outside of Downtown/LoDo, Cherry Creek and Capitol Hill which run for $1500 for 2BD unless they are really upscale new builds/remodels. Plenty of choices in the $1000-1300 range.

Stapleton is newer and has some nice options, but the schools might be less than ideal because some of the surrounding areas aren't all that nice.

So if our price range is $1500 we should be able to get a nice apartment somewhere in the area?

For $1500 you should be able to get a nice apartment ANYWHERE in the area.

I know a guy who rents a 3 year old house in Stapleton with 3 bedrooms and a 2 car garage and stupidly low utility bills for 1800/mo. I think 1500 should as Chilicheesefries (yum, hungry now) writes get you a nice apartment just about anywhere in the metro area.
