Thinking of move to de in the near future . Would like to no how a big a problem is smell and etc from lg chicken houses.at what distance is it safe to locate that free from smell on a breezey day.that ques is about the only negative i've heard about this state. Thinking of kent county around milford harrington area. Any help would be appreciated.

I live across the street from 3 large chicken houses. The only times I ever smell them is when they have just been cleaned out and the wind is blowing in the direction of my house.

Honestly, the newer more up to date houses are not as aweful as what people think.
