i want to move to the new development in townsend because of the reasonable home prices but i am not sure of what its like to live there i visited the area and all you can see is bushes,can someone tell me what is exciting about odessa,are movie theartres close by,is prejudice a big problem in the area.please help

Who is the builder? We are having a house built in Newark, but had to go to Townsend to see model home. We bought from Anderson, but almost got a Handler. We are in a neighborhood called Belden, it is still part of Appiquinimink school district. I have no idea what there is to do in area, cause we arent moving there till Aug. (Our house wont be ready till Oct though, so we will be renting)

thanks for the info,the builder is ryan homes at the enclave of odessa,their price seem very reasonable. i guess we will all find whats to do over there when we get there

when you were shopping the area, did you come across any developments that were in dense treed areas as opposed to flat farmland? I need a lot of privacy around me...love lots of trees, big ones...any ideas? It doens't have to be a new subdivision..I love new houses but prefer a non-fishbowl surrounding..some of the older established developments are okay too..thanks! 12buttons, and congratulations...

I did not come across an area that was too private. I found mostly developments with lots of houses. Some neighborhoods had lots with more property than others, but none with lots of trees. I am sorry I cannot help me.
