This weekend, the Wilmington Charter quiz bowl team had a great reason to be very excited about.

The team won the NAQT (National Academic Quiz Tournaments) national tournament in Chicago, in front of 192 teams from all over the country. They beat Dorman (SC) 350-340 in the finals.

Last week, they won the PACE tournament at George Mason University, also considered one of the most prestigous tournaments in the nation.

The A team consists of Henry Gorman, Neerah Vijay, David Weber, Chris Palladino, and Erik Weidner.

Here is a link to their homepage about the team.
