Will be relocating in the summer. Thinking of buying a home in Townsend Village. Are there supermarkets and restaurants nearby? How far is the drive? What about fast food places such as Dairy Queen and MacDonalds? Any good pizza places..(similar to NY pizza??) And what about grocery stores?

Just about everything you need is on or near Main St. which would be 5 -15 minutes away for grocery stores there is a Acme, Giant. Restaurants there is Ruby Tuesdays, Bob Evans, Friendly's, AppleBees, Middletown Diner, Nino's. There are more you can look up on line. Fastfood, Hardy's, Dairy Queen. Not sure about Mc Donald's.
I don't know names of all the restaurants I've been here less than a month and still learning but there is a Mexican Restaurant, at least one Chinese buffet (excellent), several pizza places (I like Nino's the best so far) several hoagie places, several BBQ places. There is a gourmet sandwich place on Main St called E's very very good.
The Christina mall about 35 minutes north from Middletown, and Dover Mall south about 1/2 hr.
