FWIW, Beebe will be coming out with a procedure if you received the shots from one of their walk-in clinics on how and when that distribution will take place. They said later this week for details.

Rdlr--I noticed that too! I attended an impromptu wedding at the Clerk of the Peace in Georgetown last weekend and we all wore masks--but apparently we didn't have to??? We all wore them anyway.

Testing is now offered weekly at my husband's job whether vaccinated or not. They can test right there and drop it off which I hope will encourage more to be tested. He was recently tested since he was exposed to a direct co-worker who was infected, but he was (thankfully) negative. Infections are happening at his job again among both vaxxed and unvaxxed.

Nuts--I wanted to attend the Tunnel to Towers Ball, but we didn't want to be indoors for hours around unmasked strangers either. That's how my husband caught it back in early 2020--unmasked (masks weren't a thing back then) and direct indoor contact for hours on end with an infected person. The high exposure left him very, very ill for a long time.

I did sign up to run the Tunnel to Towers race at Cape Henlopen (outdoors obviously!), but I had a last minute wedding to attend that day. As somebody who is married to a first responder (and used to be one as well), I will sign up to support anything for first responders!

It was wonderful. Except for grabbing some food and listening to the speakers we were outside for most of the time. We plan on making it an annual event. I had left NYC to work on Long Island before the WTC fell, but my office was just 4 blocks from there. Some of my former coworkers told me that the building we worked in shook when the first plane hit. I know that you have been to Cape Henlopen State Park so I am including the video link so you can see the tent and set up. It was exactly this way. I felt very safe and I am not really "out there". I did wear my mask during the presentations.
