We went to one of our favorite local eateries to grab a bite to eat and asked the manager where they hid the people? He said, every year the weekend following Memorial Day is dead. There are the local High Schools that are graduating and many college graduations too. He said next week will not be as busy as Memorial Day, but busier than this week and from then on till Sept. it is full on summer. It happens every year he said.
Good information, nuts! Thanks. I'll be heading down your way (Rehoboth, Lewes, Bethany) on Tuesday for a few work assignments. Better Tuesday, then Thursday through Sunday.

Sunday would be better coming south on Rt.1. Thursday - Sunday there is traffic. Thursday night has become Friday and Saturday as far a volume goes.

Agree with Nuts and rdlr. It's that time of the year where you have to plot and plan when to drive to the beaches. Husband and I need to get to the Fresh Market in Rehoboth before the ground chuck and chicken sale ends on Tuesday, and we are planning days in advance and checking the weather to see when we should go--and we are only traveling fifteen miles. We know rain = horrible traffic both ways and everywhere because they cannot go to the beach and everybody is out shopping.
