Hi All..I was wondering if you could tell me where to live in DE that has homes on 2 plus acres, maybe around woods or a place that has alot of trees. We live in Somerset County NJ and have recently been looking into PA but I think DE is a better choice.

My husband will re-establish his home improvement business he has had here for over 35 years to our new destination until he retires in 5 years. He needs to be within 30 min. or so of a major city. Can someone PLEASE help me before I go crazier than I am already with this house search!!!

We just want to live in a area that is low crime and safe, nice country setting. I haven't been thru DE in about 5 years so I know things might have changed some. Can someone suggest a nice setting for us?

Hi,
We just moved to Magnolia Feb and love the ruralness. while drivng around we lots of open spaces which would provide your two acres nicely.
There are many little towns south of dover, such as fredericha, Magnolia, Felton.
Crime is no worse in my opinon that anywhere else. In fact, we moved from Philly where the philly news stations talk about crime constantly. We don't see that with WBOC Delmarva station which covers dover.
Good luck.

I have been an agent here in Delaware for 3 years. There are many wooded areas to live, the question is how much do you want to pay for it. Its less expensive the further south you go.
