After seeing 'Grease' two weeks ago, we just got tickets for Bryan Adams. Usually the big one's miss out Dela-where, so I am more than happy we are getting to see him !
and reasonable prices (starting at 45 dollars).

I like the theater, so far I only saw 'the nutcracker' and two kids shows. in march we are going to see 'junie B. jones'. but ... Bryan adams is a REAL highlight !

We were just there last week to see Seusical, it was great. We will also be going to see Junie B. I really like it. My parents have taken my children there to see some shows and have great things to say. They saw an Aluminum Show recently and said it was fantastic.

We have been to the Dupont Theatre on several occasions. It is easy to get to and their are several restaurants nearby. It's a great night out and after hours parking is readily available.

when you compare it to all the hassle you have when you do the drive to the wachovia center (or is it wells fargo center now ), the traffic, tons of people, high prices .... it is just very convenient going to the dupont theater.

there are so many differently priced tickets available, the cheapest one you can get over the official dupont theater site, I guess. where do you get yours ?

there is also a field for a promotional code, but I would have no idea where to find one.
even without - it's a nice, more of a historical place to see great shows, I think !

I also purchased our tickets on their web. When we went to the box office, we were offered better seats at no additional charge.

we enjoyed Bryan Adams unplugged for 2 hours and 15 minutes. WHAT a show ! first we were kind of disappointed - no drums, no second or third guitar - BUT it was unbelievable, what he did with his guitar and the piano guy.

the only negative things about the dupont: people, who are recording and taking videos after warning and ushers, who are very annoyed by them and totally rude - their discussions were really interrupting the fun.

and - I am 5.7 ... these seats are NOT made for tall people at all. If you are taller than me, better get a seat on the very left or right.

overall - what a great artist and performer. and very humorous too !
