I've never been there for a show, and I only moved to Dallas in April so I'm not too familiar with the area.

That being said I was wondering

I live near the Turnpike/Tollway interchange. What is the best way to get there?

How much is parking?

Is VIP parking worth it?

Tollway south to I-35, I-30 east, then follow the signs to Fair Park. SuperPages center is on the back side of Fair Park.

I did VIP last time I was there, and it was good because it was VERY close to the entrance. But it was at the back of the lot, so it was a long wait to leave. Would I do it again? Probably not...

Oh, the Starplex. It took a while to figure out what you were talking about.

Parking sucks there. Leaving is a nightmare no matter where you park.

Cost depends on the event, anywhere from $10 - $20.

Don't park on someone's lawn, the $5 or $10 you save won't be enough to offset the insurance deductible when your car is vandalized or stolen.

The best exit to take off I-30 is the Munger/Barry/East Grand exit. Turn right off the exit - takes you south. Stay on the street - it is continous, but changes names many times (Munger-Barry-Crosstown-Fitzhugh). The parking will be on your right off Fitzhugh. Don't confuse this Fitzhugh with the one off I-75; it is not a direct continuation.

Thank you for the directions!

I just want to add that VIP parking is NOT worth it in this venue. I parked in the very back (near the office builds/warehouses) by the fence and I was out of there in no time.

I agree, VIP parking is a waste of money. It's not that far from the end of the parking lot to the entrance, and you save time when leaving.

I went there to see New Kids on the Block, and regular parking was included in the ticket price.

Went to a concert a few weeks ago and parked on the free lots. Parking wasn't too bad however there was a lot of traffic backing all the way into downtown Dallas trying to get there on the freeways for some reason.
