Its says it is going to be a low in the 17,18 degrees the next few days and highs only in the 30's.I dont recall ever seeing those low numbers.

New Year's day 1980 we had the big ice storm and it didn't get above freezing for over 30 days. I remember getting stuck with a stalled car and it was 8 degrees outside and 9pm. A kind person gave me a ride home or I would have froze to death. Keep warm!

I remember that day well. I was at the Cotton Bowl watching Notre Dame play the University of Houston. Joe Montana won it in the last seconds of the game
. I remember feeling bad for the cheerleaders because they only had on sweats. It was freezing in that stadium.
