HI-
We are moving to the Far North Dallas area soon and were wondering if there are any good pizza places around that area or Richardson. We arent interested in chain pizza places (eg Pizza Hut, etc) but more locally owned places.
Thanks.

Pizza Villa is a hole in the wall off 75 and Beltline.

They don't deliver, and they're closed on Sunday and Monday, I believe.

It's good, especially if you like thin crust.

Another small local place is Olive Oil's, but I'm not much of a fan. To me, there is a dearth of great pizza around here.

A new chain called Russo's Coal-Fired pizza just opened up (that I'd never heard of) but all of the local reviews I've read are panning the place dreadfully for both service and food.

One of my favorite pizzas is from an Italian restaurant on the other side of 75 service road at Beltline called Aboca's. You can get a personal pizza at lunchtime with 3 toppings for 7.99. Soooo worth it. They give you fresh-made bread and garlic olive oil before your meal too. They seem to specialize in gigantic portions of very caloric pasta dishes, but I think the pizza is better.

Campisi's on Mockingbird is an institution. Gotta love it and good pizza too.

Saw this place on the Food Networks, "Diners, Drive-In's and Dive's" and soooooo want to try it. The pizza looked AWESOME! The guy that owns and runs it (and cooks) is a transplant.

Sali's is another good spot in Garland and East Dallas.
Brooklyn's is a chain but pretty decent pizza.

I've been craving me some Wolfgang Puck pizza like I had in Vegas the other day. YUM!!!!

Campisi's was the home to the mafia when it existed in Dallas, to tell you how good the Italian food is.

I also like Picasso's. It's a local chain with a very good thick pizza crust.

Picasso's is the best in town. You should definitely check it out. We order it every Saturday at my job,
