That was a bit my impression as well. I was looking for a fun night in Austin with some friends and we ended up just going out to eat. I suggested some local entertainment but all I got was recommendations for restaurants. I can do that in Dallas. Some college students recommended 6th street. I think street walking and barhopping can be done anywhere. Hmm, Leslie was sort of interesting but one encounter was enough he was nuts. I talked to him for a little while and he posed for a picture with me and a friend then asked for money (lol). I heard from some UT students that he is good at crashing parties.

True. I don't consider meeting an elderly transvestite a cool experience though. You can go to drag queen shows that are far more entertaining lol.

I agree but just mentioned it because that seemed to be the only unique thing that I remembered about Austin. I was there with a friend and she said there is Leslie let's go talk to him - I said okay. Anyway that was memorable but not in a good way.

Comparing Austin to Dallas is like comparing Dallas to New York.

Default Stay tuned!

I can certainly tell you what living in Austin is like (and I would never recommend that place for anyone to live!) All I can say about Austin is that it's a nice place to visit but you would not want to live there. I won't be able to tell you what living in Dallas is like until I relocate this weekend and live there for a while! It won't be a comparison or a VS...Stay tuned
