No velodrome? No ponies? No NASCAR?
Does anybody play indoor soccer for fun in Dallas. I used to play all the time in Oklahoma and let me just tell you, it is so much fun! Perfect for all ages and you can play in any weather, literally. Definitely a favorite pastime of mine.

Well you can take a quick camping trip to Lake Joe Pool. They have a state park that has RV hook ups and cabins you can rent. Riding a bike around Joe Pool or White Rock Lake is also enjoyable. There are plenty of sports bars, lounges, clubs etc. to go to. You also have plenty of sporting events to attend. I get a blast out doing projects for Habitat for America. You can hang out at the Oasis at Joe Pool or Sneaky Peaks at Lake Lewisville. Plenty to do for those who search out things to do.

The only real activities in DFW are working, shopping and eating out. Or going out of state.

Come on, we all know it's true.

You mean Dallas does not have movies? Or football and basketball games to watch? Or live theater? Or classes at universities? Or comedy and dance clubs? Or poetry readings in Deep Ellum? Or... <you name it>?

When someone claims that there is nothing to do in a large city with millions of people, the most likely explanation is that he is suffering from clinical depression.
