1. University Park
2. Southlake
3 Colleyville etc, etc.

I have no idea why Grapevine doesn't rate higher..... and Trophy Club and Keller in the top ten??

Thanks for sharing.

They really should have separated it by population, then compare apples to apples.

Hard to believe that Sunnyvale ranks lower than The Colony and Oak Point!!!

Grapevine does not rate higher because
its homes are more moderately priced, there are fewer 3 car garages, there is higher crime rate in Grapevine than Southlake or Colleyville, the median income is lower

they should have compared it by median incomes
then by the median prices of homes
then by the crime #s
then by tax rate
then by other factors like density, parks/biking/hiking trails, youth organizations,

Afterall, what makes a suburb great other than tons of money, huge houses and large garages. That totally summarizes the entire "D Magazine". What a horrible magazine. We should rename it, "If you aren't rich, you don't count".

"We should rename it, "If you aren't rich, you don't count". Ditto that! It would have been much more usefull if they would have group them by median income.

They don't care if you are rich or not as long as you spend money with their advertisers trying to look that way!

They don't care, as long as you complain loudly after you continue to buy it every month because it gives you something to complain about.

I have NEVER bought a D Magazine for EXACTLY that reason. I spend my consumer dollars on things I want to keep around (like locally owned restaurants).

I once had a friend who was considering being transferred here. He declined because he bought a couple issues of D magazine feeling it would help give hi an overview. He told me he felt since he was neither rich nor a snob he wouldn't fit it here.

For a magazine called D it gives a pretty inaccurate view of the city.

The D reflects the grade I would give it. That is about it. That might even be too generous.
