I also needed to know, does dallas have a time of year that lots of people either visit or have 2nd homes?...like in Florida where lots of people go in the winter time?

Along w/ football and the State Fair we have some pretty big conventions that do come to Dallas. The National Homebuilders were here for a few years (might still be as I don't keep up). On alternating years w/ Houston we host the Southwest Food Expo at the Dallas Convention Center (takes up the entire convention center). There is a BIG cheerleading competition every year here as well (surprise). We get plenty of tourists just not at a set time in the year.

Make up. A line of make-up by Mary Kay Ash who grew up and lived in Dallas. She has a whole book and all about her story - rags to riches. She is dearly departed now but the line is still going strong. The highest earners in her company all used to receive Pink Cadillac's.
