They just haven’t fully revealed themselves yet. Look for that 61 number to grow considerably in the near future.
Yes, I read today that the actual number of cases is in the 100-200x range. So the 15 or whatever the local case count is today is more like 1500-3000. And doubling every 2-3 days. No change in behavior and in 2 weeks 200,000-400,000 DFW residents could have it even if the “official” test count is in the 2,000-4,000 range.....assuming they can actually process that many official tests.

Two of my good friends are Baylor ER docs and they are honestly terrified about the ethical decisions they will likely have to make choosing who to put on the limited number of respirators.

We are back after exhausting 13 hour drive from Breck. I have to say late night traffic on i35, GWB, and DNT appeared lighter than normal. I'll venture to the grocery store tomorrow.

I would gladly stay at home but can't. And what to do with the kids is whole other story..

I was going to add that nobody in Breck seemed to be very worried, and now, I just read that Vail has closed all NA resorts...

The Colorado governor issued an executive order tonight for a 1 week closure of all ski resorts.

Good luck at the store! Hopefully they will restock overnight.

It was like Russia when I went this evening. Shelves completely baren of any staples. No flour, sugar, meat, pasta, rice, canned goods (other than veggies). Frozen food isle decimated. No bread, butter, potatoes. No paper products of any kind -- toilet paper, paper towels or Kleenex.

I have never seen anything like this before.

Walmart is eliminating their 24 hour store in order to restock.

"Stores and neighborhood markets -- some operating as long as 24 hours a day -- will open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., while those with shorter hours will retain their existing schedules, the Bentonville, Arkansas-based company said.

Walmart Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillon, one of the CEOs who spoke at President Donald Trump’s press conference on Friday, said it was difficult to keep hand sanitizers in stock. Trump is scheduled to hold a call with grocery executives on Sunday.

The company’s supply chain and trucking fleet will continue to move products and deliver to stores on regular schedules, Smith said. Employees will also work the hours and shifts they are scheduled."

To further illustrate what I was saying earlier, I just got an alert that there are currently 7 confirmed cases in Collin County, but more importantly, another 60 people under observation. Anyone of those 60 could eventually become confirmed positives. Then you have to take into account the people in the contact path of those 60, and hopefully you can see how this can become widespread very quickly. Hopefully none of those 60 become positive, but the probability of that is low.

Using this Johns Hopkins professor's logic, Collin County could already have between 175 to 320 cases. He thinks for every 1 positive case there are between 25 to 50 others.
