Thank you for the information. I've never been to Colorado.

Unless of course it is 6 below and your trying to ski DOWNHILL against the wind and it literally stops you. THAT was the coldest I've EVER been in Colorado and it was at Keystone in mid-January. Your summer mountain days are like our winter days mostly. Start out w/ a coat, mid-day your wanting short sleeves and a/c on in the car, need a jacket when the sun goes down - PERFECT WEATHER, imho . Normally while I'm in Colorado in the winter I can get easily acclimated to the cold. It is just different. There is not much for humidity which makes a HUGE difference here in making it seem colder. In Colorado I can get by when not skiing w/ jeans, t-shirt w/ a sweatshirt or sweater over it and be fine if the sun is shining and the wind is not blowing out of the north. We also get a lot of wind. Not as much in the summer but the rest of the year it can be pretty windy here.

Well, I've got to go bundle up and head out - urgh! Be safe everyone and stay warm. Drink lots of hot chocolate and peppermint shnapps
Thank you. I think I'd really love Texas. The weather in Colorado seems a bit cold for my liking. I prefer hot, hot, hot!

Enjoy the snowy beauty today As the saying goes, "God doesn't make any bad days!" Gotta love it Somewhere in the world it's always gorgeous...

Default Grab A Shovel If You Can

Wow! What a day!! It usually takes 15 minutes for me to get home from work. Today? Nearly an hour. This was Coppell going back into Lewisville. And those snowflakes were huge!!

When I got home today, I saw that one of the awnings at my apartment complex collapsed earlier today. Apparently, it could not handle the weight of the snow.

We've got about 6 inches of snow here at the house in Corinth just south of Denton..my friend near downtown Dallas says that it's mostly just rain and some sleet down there...crazy...we're about 35 miles north of downtown and what a difference that makes!

I promise to throw snowballs your way! Still snowing......kinda slushy on the road. Would love to post pics but I am a dork and can not figure this out. Tons of neighbors out sledding down this really great grassy hill in our neighborhood. It was lots of fun.

Same over here. From the pictures on the news right now it is totally different night/day from one side of town to the other, as is always typical Dallas & Texas weather.

Just LOTS of cold icy rain here. Ground is just WET! And it's COLD!! Oh well, I'm in for the night and have on a long sleeved white cotton soft shirt, black silk thermal bottoms and my fuzzy warm socks. So what IS on tv tonight?
