I am looking to purchase a $200,000 house in rockwall and was just curious as to what I would have to pay in taxes. I can't wait to make the move.
thanks in advance

Try searching under Rockwall. I know that Momof2dfw has posted on Rockwall before. I think the thing there would be what the taxes might not get you, the water costs will. Supposed to be the highest water around.

I was going to tell you to check the Rockwall Apraisal District's website, but it appears that the site is still under construction. Sorry.

I found that too. It has worked before in the past and not but just a few weeks ago when I was looking up some of our stuff. You should be able to call the tax office for each and get the info. Call the city, the county office and the school district tax office. If it is an existing home the county should be able to give you the exact amount that the 2006 taxes were on the property. Same goes about asking the seller if you can get a copy of their 2006 taxes.
