I live in Garland and I'm crazy looking for an OB/GYN in any area of Dallas that takes Medicaid. Don't mind driving an hour.

You might try Dr. Salter at Advanced OB-Gyn Associates. I saw him for several years when I lived in Garland and his office was at Shiloh/Walnut. After I moved he became just too far away. Recently he's moved up near the Methodist Richardson campus at Bush/Renner.

The reason I'm suggesting him is that he is affiliated with, and pretty closely, with Baylor Garland. However Baylor Garland shut down their labor and delivery program last year and all of the doctors appear to have moved closer to other hospitals. But if he was serving Baylor Garland he probably dealt with Medicaid. Also, he has a pretty faith based outlook and I can only imagine taking Medicaid would fit in that.

I don't think there is any such thing as a Texas doctor's practice that accepts Medicaid. The Medicaid program in Texas doesn't work that way.
I'd suggest you call the nearest Planned Parenthood and ask them if they can refer you or have any suggestions. They're pretty knowledgable about how Medicaid works in Texas re ob-gyn situations, and certainly they can tell you if there are any physicians in the area who can treat you under the Medicaid program.

The nearest Planned Parenthood to Garland I could find is in Mesquite:

This site also shows offices in North Dallas and other areas, if that's more convenient for you:

Presby. Dallas has a maternity clinic that is WONDERFUL (and they accept Medicaid). I had a baby there a few years ago and it was great.
