WinStar Casino

Winstar just went thru a huge remodel and they claim it's one of the largest in the US now. I don't like any of them myself, but from the looks of the parking lots at Winstar and Choctaw both lots of people live there day and night!

For the Oklahoma casinos, what is their alcohol policy? Is it comped when playing, do you have to buy it, etc?

It seems like I've heard that you can't drink while gambling, or you can only drink in a designated area...

My husband and I took a day trip to Choctaw last winter. The outside was not impressive. Inside wasn't so bad. It's your basic larger scale, I know I am not in Vegas but I can pretend casino. Kinda reminded me of old Reno.
I can't tell you much about the table games cause they were PACKED! You didn't have to pay the house for blackjack. Not alot of fun blackjack (Spanish 21, Queens). The poker room is what really draws lots of people. All in all it was a fun time. Worth the drive.
