I love the State Fair of Texas!!! As far as Big Tex goes...I'm indifferent. Actually, at the risk of being condemned of blasphemy, I think we should burn him EVERY year on the last day of the fair! It'd be great for last-minute-attendance and a fun tradition. I mean, we already know what it would look like (awesome), how to control it, and how close people would be able to safely watch. LOL...so, why not?

Doesn't look like the old one...this one looks like a clown with botox.

If that's blasphemy then I'm right there with you. I keep looking at photos from last year of him burning and I can't stop laughing. Don't get me wrong, I was sad that it happened but the photos are so funny to me, right out of a child's nightmare. He looked like a demon brought straight up from the depths of hell. The fact that he was still "talking" when it happened, "Howdy Folks!" sends me into hysterics.

Keeping up with the times. He's metrosexual! I don't get the rolled jeans and his boots remind me of Uggs.

Wow....that bottom picture has to be the worst one on record. ..he looks like someone took his 6 shooter from him, pointed it in his face and dared him to blink. ..

Those new boots are SO wrong.

He just doesn't look like himself.
