cost us around 250 per car. you have to go get it inspected and then go down to the county tax office of the area you live in (i think that is the place you go! :/ a lot of the gas stations do the inspections. its about 40ish dollars. the changing over of the license plates is what is the most expensive.

I recently got my out of state vehicle registered in TX. It was a pretty painless process at the county tax office. Its a little different than where I come from. We got our vehicles registered and got our drivers license at the DMV office. But in TX you have to go to the DPS office to get your DL after you get your vehicle registered. You may also want to get a tolltag after you get it registered here in TX. You will have to go to the NTTA office to get a tag.

Here is the link on how to get you vehicle registered.

It was over $400 for two cars back in January. Probably more with inspection and license fees for two cars/people. I still need to go apply for and pay for a TX title for one of my cars. I keep forgetting.
