Hey guys! I will be moving into a 1,050 sq ft (3 stories) condo next month. I'm starting to look around for electric providers and read someone's advice that Rates offered at the end of the summer will be much lower so don't pick anything permanent now.

Can anyone tell me what the best option is for me at this point? Do I go month-to-month or sign a 3 or 6 month contract?

I would do a month to month for the next two months. Prices will come down during the fall and you should then sign a longer term deal. Summer is the worse time to sign a long term deal.

Ambit Energy, they are offering low rates all the time. I had TXU forever and decided to make a switch my bills have been half of what they were.
