I am looking for a nail place to go with girlfriends where they server wine. I don't want a super expensive place. I know there is a nail place in oak lawn that will give you a drink (house wine or water), but wasn't sure if there were others or not. Thoughts?

Bevelry Hills Nail on Boll Street by the Gingerman and S&D Oyster.

Not the cheapest- I think $18 for manicure & $35-40ish for pedicure- but they do serve wine.

I happen to like the place on Oak Lawn (next to World Market) better- SoHo Nail Spa. Nicer people & they do a much better job for basically the same price.

Nailicious on Oak Lawn does a great job and also serves wine. I only go in the afternoons but they say groups of girlfriends love to come on Friday and Saturday nights to drink and get their mani/pedis done.

TC80 and MSPmom - how are the massage chairs in your fave places for a pedicure? I've been going to Nail Bar because the massage chair gets right into the neck area while most others don't. I'm always up to trying a new place; although I've been happy with Nail Bar so far. BTW - not sure if Nail Bar serves wine since I'm usually there just before lunch...

Hi Pepper!
I think Nailicious falls a bit short on their massage chairs because you can't get a good upper back/neck massage. It's great for getting the kinks out of my lower back but not much happens above my shoulder blades. I did notice one woman getting a personal back massage during her pedicure so I may have to ask what that's about.
