Hahaha, this reminds me of one of our street festivals, lots of different types attend that one. Very entertaining. Anyway, I don't see how she was blocking everyone's view when there was a constant stream of people walking back & forth in front of HER as well. Where exactly was the stage that there seemed to be a pedestrian sidewalk in between? Regardless, I'm surprised there isn't video of her being talked to & escorted out, unless I missed the link. There were plenty of other white people there so that argument is bunk. But I will say, she wasn't really obnoxious & disruptive. Maybe I'm just used to this sort of behavior from some people at festivals. Goes with the territory.

Never mind, I saw the original link. Those guys were being civil at least.

My issue wouldn't have been that she was blocking anyone's view, but rather that she was clearly there to perform (costumes and props) and was not hired nor approved by the event coordinators.

There was a video of her being talked to ... it's in the story link in the OP. They very clearly told her she could stay, but she would have to sit down.

Susan Stone is like Baby Jane Hudson, Spike Kinsey, and a Pink Flamingo, all rolled into one. And come to think of it, if there were a remake of the movie, Pink Flamingos, Susan Stone could simply do a lot of costume changes, and play MOST of the female roles. Maybe that should be her next video.

I've Written a letter to daddy - Baby Jane Hudson - YouTube
Spike Can Dance - Floor Moves - YouTube
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bt0nZFtdv0...0/flamingo.jpg

I just love Spike Kinsey. If you watch his videos in chronological order, you see him building his dancing career, in accordance with the spiritual precepts laid out by Paula Abdul (with Sheryll trying to hog the limelight and take over the act). Spike Can Dance - Go My Son (a traditional native song and dance) - YouTube Then, spike makes an amazing health drink (using ice cream and gummy vitamins), which he shares with Sheryll. Spike Can Dance - Protein Health Shake - YouTube In subsequent videos, Sheryll becomes increasingly unwell (vitamins kill dogs, it turns out), and then Sheryll dies. Next, there's a truly grisly Viking Pyre funeral for Sheryll. Spike Can Dance - Sheryll's Funeral and Rap Tribute - YouTube And then, there's a new dog... and a new apartment, because his dad kicks him out of the Attic Bonus Room at home. Then, he comes to Portland, where he discovers Mexicans, and his impromptu dance routines wow the audiences. Spike Can Dance at Musicfest NW 2010 - YouTube And then he goes to Amsterdam, and we don't hear much from him after that. His luscious Sport Shorts provide continuity throughout the years he makes the videos, and provide much eye candy for those who appreciate a certain body type. I think that he definitely is a dancer/performer/teacher in the Susan Stone Tradition. It's almost as if he's one of her students.

What is the point of the article? An obviously troubled person dishonestly plays the race card (or maybe she's so far gone that she actually thought she heard that), and that makes it news? Just because the race issue is heated right now, that doesn't mean any old nonsense should be thrown on the pile. Is there nothing more pressing? An article about the Invisible Man becoming a model would make more sense.

"Dance of life?" She looks like the people who dance in dive bars after too many $2 jager bombs. They did not attempt to kick her out until she became disruptive. The video is proof of this. Some people crave attention, and go to absurd lenghts to get it. Thanks to the internet.and social media, anyone can become a "star."

It works for the click-bait news media. I bet KMOV teased the story at least twice going into breaks.

Yeah but I got a kick out of it.

I think I know this lady. She's the one who did way too much LSD back in 1969 high school.

Never was the same after that.

Time has not been kind to Susan. https://www.facebook.com/danceoflifedancer/
