The job will be in Alice, but we've already quickly realized that there are no decent apartments in that area (or decent cities). So we're looking for something maybe on the outskirts of CC? West CC? I don't know. Something less than an hour away from Alice in typical morning traffic (8am, etc). We don't really know what area to be searching for - what to type into Google, etc. One bedroom apartment, preferably 'luxury'.

Any help is very appreciated!

I could be wrong, but I don't think you'll get a luxury apartment less than an hour away from Alice. You might try looking in Kingsville, or the newest apartments on the southside in Corpus Christi. I assume you're coming to work in the Eagle Ford Shale, along with the thousands of other people. You might be able to rent a small house in Driscoll or Bishop, but it won't be luxurious, I can assure you.

Good luck with it. Concentrate on making a lot of money during the boom and maybe the housing won't be as big a deal to you.

With gas rices the way they are, I'd rent a house and live in Alice. Their schools are just okay so if you've got kids, consider Calallen.
