My boyfriend was recently relocated for work. He was at a refinery in MN and we are now down here looking for apartments. We have looked at at least 30 different properties and we found one in Flour Bluff that is about in our price range for now. Just wondering about Flour Bluff and if there are jobs available in the area? Do they have a bus route at all in Flour Bluff? We are also down to one vehicle for the time being...

Thank you for any information

Tina

There are lots of businesses around Flour Bluff along S. Padre Island Drive and it is close to central Corpus, so it should be a good base for finding work, depending on what your skills are.

Ok Thank You So much for the Bus info I have 8 years experiance doing pca work- i worked in a private group home in MN and i enjoyed it alot. Maybe something similar, I also have just finished getting my dental assistant degree, but all my stuff is based out of MN, so i am guessing I will need to re-test for a TX license... I am also wondering about the college out that way? The island pacific one? I might possibly continue my dental eduacation... Have'nt decided yet...

Thanks again,
Tina
