We're having our first HDTV delivered to the house tomorrow and we are excited! Here's a question I have. The tv will be arriving cold since temps will be in the low 30's tomorrow with snow and I was wondering if we should turn the tv on right away if the tv is cold? I dont know what could happen if the television was turned on while it was cold, but I've heard others say that you shouldnt do this. I'm not sure if this true and if any damage could be done to the television. How cold does it have to be to worry about this? Do we wait a couple of hours before turning it on? Any advice would be appreciated.
Operating Temperature 32 degrees F --- 104 degrees F
I did a bit of searching and found several sites that said these were normal operating temperatures. Looks like it might work OK, but I'd wait a little while to make sure. It probably won't take long for it to reach a more friendly temp.
Thanks Brian for taking the time to help me out! Way to go! Have a happy new year!
