The Forestville section of Bristol would be a great choice. Housing is very affordable and there are a number of nice quiet neigborhoods. Forestville borders Southington and Plainville and is very close to Farmington as well. It also has quick access to the highway where you can be in downtown Hartford in under 20 minutes.

Thank you everyone. I would personally prefer to live in a managed community vis-a-vis a home.( Renting only not looking at ownership now). Anyways I have shortlisted Griswold Hills in Newington/ The village at Wethersfield/ Pebblebrook in New Britain.

Anyone who has heard or lived here plz share your experience. How bad is the traffic from Newington/ Wethersfield to Southington. These places are way off from I-84 more closer to Berlin Tpke.
