Same project.
What's done represents 5-10% of the original plan.
It's originally over a million SQ ft lifestyle center.
Might just be delayed due to CV. Carpionato hasn't submitted further plans yet.

It's definitely a win for Avon though.

Avon is no where near a median sales price of $600K+. Most of the pretty big houses (4 bed, 3+ bath, 3000+ sq ft are in the high 4’s to low 6’s and not that many people are buying significantly bigger than that
Exactly. The “Avon median 700k” figure is absurd. I have in law family in the town and it’s nowhere near what some are portraying here. It’s an upper middle class town, at absolute most.

Their posting such does a disservice to those who are seeking actual data on the community.

Nah. Avon is a lot more Asian/Indian and a higher percentage of college grads than Brookfield. Higher birth rate. The per capita income is much higher than Brookfield. Tons of physicians from UConn, Hartford Hospital, and St Francis. I would guess the schools are pretty competitive with some tiger parents. Hartford is a bigger metro than Danbury so Avon has a bigger concentration of health care and manager class. Hartford isn’t NYC so you have solidly upper middle class rather than wealthy. Health care and manager class have a lower compensation ceiling.

Greenwich and Fairfield are big CT cities. Rt 1, 95 development make Westport appear larger than it is, busy, traffic.
Hello,

I've driven through Hebron and I wasn't truly impressed. It just didn't feel like home

Hebron just didn't feel like home to me. I was not impressed when I went out there a few times.

Avon always seemed a bit higher end to me than Brookfield.

The same applies to the other towns mentioned. Avon also has many Hartford area executives (insurance companies, aviation, etc.) and well off businessmen as well. Jay

Definitely. Brookfield is nice but it’s more middle class. Avon is more upper middle and upper class. Jay

Good work. That's how you do it.
Avon is more Northern FFC like. Abundant forestry, large homes and lots. I have no idea who lives in any of these areas or what they do for a living.
West Hatford is your southern FFC cohort, any city or town, however you want to designate it. Denser, more action, I hear the food is to die for up there. I still have Danny K's reco for Zoharra's on the top of my list. Hopefully this summer.

Best on the search. Come back soon

West Hartford give you Milford/Fairfield vibe in some areas and what about Glastonbury and Simsbury ?
