Avoid downtown and the west end. Other than that you'll find nice neighborhoods in most places.

I agree. The rest have of Bristol is fine. Just make sure you check the neighborhood is to your liking. Drive and walk around it to look for nuisance properties. Good luck. Jay

It is not unsafe. It's just a bit "blah" - but there's nice neighborhoods for sure.

Nearby Southington is a really well rounded town with lots of conveniences.

Westfarms. Large malls attract non-violent crime and drive up crime stats.

That's a good point. Most thefts that drive up Farmington's crime rate likely comes from the mall. Good call. Take the mall away Farmington's number is probably 50 or less.
