Overnight Euro went COLDER for Saturday. Too extreme, has the surface struggling past single digits. LOLOL

It does mean something though. Currently NWS is thinking around 15 for NYC and 6 for Danbury (as you show in a later post). But looks like they took out the (albeit extremely minor) snow for Wed night into Thursday.

If this airmass happens, it will be on the Extreme Cold end. Something we haven't seen in a long time... I haven't checked the surface or stats but the airmass itself is wicked cold

What this is showing is my accumulated snowfall totals..


By January 29th I had over a foot for the season in 9 of the last 12 yrs.


Only 1.3" this year!!! WOW. FEELS SO WEIRD


I been doing so much outside work lately.

It may be normal for the Polar regions but when that ball rotates and pushes south its near extreme cold for our latitude. Watch it curl away though hence the quick warmup

This month has been nuts. I think we're 5 weeks straight without a below normal day avg????

50s into Southern New England again today
