Make it stop!!

Why oh why can't we get snow in the first half of winter? Last snow is so depressing. I've had spring birds chirping for two weeks, mentally I'm on the spring upswing!

(on the plus side, super easy to shovel yesterday)

Bridgeport with 3 feet of snow now is +21.3" above normal.. 7th most in the entire U.S including Alaska!

NYC, Newark almost 2 feet above normal now too.

GFS12z has 0.47" liquid tomorrow. If its anything like yesterday with high ratio snows at 20:1 then that's 9.4" of snow. LMAO. No way we're doing that again

Looks like a sunrise to sunset thing again but less. Heaviest late morning to early afternoon.

Going to revise this up a bit, probably around 2-3". But since rates should be pretty slow and surface temps decently high roads should still be fine.

NAM says we go to rain but I don't buy it, its been pushing the warm narrative the entire time it has had this system and every other model says no.

If an area gets lucky I wouldn't be surprised if they crest 6", but even then this is still going to be a low impact event b/c the rates are slow.

This years almanac has been a bust. Showing sunny and mild for February so far. January was off too. The last few years it’s been spot on, it even caught the early storm this season.
