Max temps yesterday. BDR didn't get to 70.

https://www.weather.gov/ctp/ObsMaps

Wanna see something interesting?????????? Max temps for April.

1. Note the interesting trend DOWN since the early 2000s. We aren't hitting those crazy hot temps in April as much anymore.

2. 10 days left. If they stay at 69° as the max, its the 7th coldest max for April.
It would be the coldest since 1998 when it never past 66° that April

Funny, NAM is now suggesting that instead of leaving the region, the moisture continues and instead a low forms on the NE on Monday, dropping rain the entirety of Monday into Tuesday!

On another note, just passed 4" for the month of April.

AND on another note, apparently March 2019 was a below average precipitation month! About 1.2" below average IMBY.

Being underneath an Upper Level low not only provides cooler temps but its also always cloudy. In the winter it provides instability and creates snow showers. It's typically slow moving.

Looks like here in CT the rain is almost done. That batch over the Ocean might not affect the Western half. Steady 60s outside. Looking lush

This spring reminds me of springs we used to have. Things would warm up very gradually. Spring was an actual season, not winter right into summer. I like this.

I could't GET to sleep

If Bradly hit 78 yesterday, there is no reason that my 80 wasn't accurate

The wind noise is what woke me up. I thought there would be power issues where I'm staying. Anyways...

7/10 inch at Brainard Airport (HFD) so far. Their last reading showed 67 and a dew point of 64.

Did you see it snowed in the North Carolina mountains yesterday? Pretty cool. Elevation is awesome even down south.

I am almost at 4 inches for the month now. #MAKEITSTOP!!!!!!!

Tomorrow will make 10 days in a row.

Last time I had a month with under 3 inches of precip was December 2017. That's 16 months ago!! We're due for long dry stretches now. Come on!!!!! #LowSolarActivity
