Here it comes.

Since I had drizzle yesterday at 2-3pm it's still only 1 24hr period (7am-7am) without precip in past 16 days. WTF!!!

19 days of rain this month according my weather station.! Also notice the rain events keep getting bigger since the beginning of the month. Next big rain will probably top 2 inches. Almost 6 inches this month. Can't even work outside everything is mud.

Here's the radar at 12:04pm. There was a downpour in Northern New Canaan, Wilton and Weston but not heavy in Southern New Canaan or Westport. So Wilton will have more precip total than other areas nearby.

Hope this helps understand why some areas, even just neighborhoods, will have a small or big difference in totals. Best to install a cheap $5 rain gauge instead of comparing to a close station nearby

This is why Mothers Day is the safe date to transplant for us in Connecticut. Even Early May we can still get too cold for plants but mid May we're safe.

Frosty morning out there.

Zoomed out. Hartford 36° is 11 below normal.

We're below normal from Kentucky to Maine this morning..

Binghamton 30° is 14 degrees below normal.
Atlantic City 38° is 11 below normal.

Spoiler
