Awesome day today. Pretty comfortable - a bit strange with such high dews. Nice downpour now too

I don't get it... only 0.03" from that storm yesterday. Sounded like much more than that. Oh well

Pop-up shower in New Britain's south end at 5 pm. Stopped. Heftier period of rain almost 20 minutes later getting onto the Berlin Turnpike (US 5/CT 15). [I was on foot.] Later walked down to East Berlin and into Cromwell. Small thunderstorm by the Cromwell Walmart after 9:30 PM. Partial clearing and very humid after that.

We hit the tipping point! Storms developing everywhere. One on the CT-MA border is cranking, 30 strikes per minute. Bad

You can see that cell around where I-91 reaches the MA border. Big stuff. Keep an eye to the clouds to the west of Fairfield County, those could develop into thunderstorms and smash us.

Those clouds I was talking about look a bit higher now. We could be close to breaking point, at which we will be subjected to a strong thunderstorm with minimal warning... use the satellite! Early warning system as opposed to radar.

Miserable season. Can't stay outside and you live in a cave to conserve energy.
