Is this the first time we're struggling past 40s? Feels like it. Cloudy all day.

3pm Map. I'm at 48°. 50s at the immediate coast and Long Island.

BTW - Duluth is well above normal for snowfall this season with a foot, more today. Could be epic for Upper Mid West this year.

Is that the entire state or your area? A couple of us talked a bit further up about another October snow that would have happened either 2012 or 2013. I remembered it because we were given massage gifts that I thought needed to be used up by the end of October. The snow was unexpected (6-7pm) but maybe it was localized.

Or looking at your dates, maybe we were given a deadline of mid-November. It would not have been 2012 as everything was fine in the morning. I didn't have my snows on yet. So maybe it was 2013.

That said I needed to put the heat on in both houses tonight. It was 56 downstairs at my house and 53 in the house I'm staying at. I'll turn them back off once the chill is out of the air. This is when I wish for a wood stove!

lol. NP. Could be these dark mornings affecting our alertness throughout the day. It's pitch dark at 7am, hate it!

BTW, as you may know, my backyard or one location doesn't mean it was more or less for another. Hartford may of had different "1st snowfall" dates AND Waterbury may of had more snow on those days, ect.

Like November 12, 2013, Bridgeport had accumulating snows (0.01"), Windsor Locks didn't (Trace)

After our coldest day since April 20th staying in the 40s yesterday, here we are with a very warm morning. 60s at the coast ! 55° here. Warm.

------RAINY/CLOUDY PATTERN NEXT 5-7 DAYS----

Just scattered drizzle and showers around next few days.

Next good chance of rain is Sunday morning. Saturday better day of weekend.

Front Monday with rain. Storm Tuesday and Thursday with rain.

And don't worry, the snow threat is gone for around the 9th. lol
