Another top 5 day! Great day for a long walk.

Wish I was there. What was the max today? Any sun? How much rain did you get?

The pictures from mid-coast Maine are making me jealous! I have lived in Wells and Old Orchard Beach in my past. Both are in York County, between Portland and Portsmouth, NH. (Wells is Exit 19 from I-95/Maine Turnpike, while O.O.B. is via Exit 36 in Saco for I-195 East.)

The rain this morning was needed, I think. So long as it doesn't turn into Maryland of the past week, we're good! I only saw one or two tiny breaks of sun this afternoon in Berlin/New Britain. Skies were brightening a bit just before our 8:20 PM sunset.

Ayuh!

Not familiar with those areas but if its anything like Bar Harbor its pretty cool. 3 million people a year visit but most starting in mid June. I wouldn't of liked the congestion here mid summer.

Was talking to some store owners and they said they don't get many people from NH around but they get every other New England state and even Colorado. Found that strange to hear.

42° at 10pm and drizzling. Nuts

Looks like BDR is offline

It looks brighter here this morning. There's a chance of a shower or two this afternoon. Sounds like a weak cold front comes through, seeing as they're calling for like 51 either tonight or tomorrow night.

Wells is fairly quiet year round, except for maybe Forbes Seafood and Wells Beach at the end of Mile Road (accessed from US Route 1). There's also Congdon's Doughnuts on US Route 1 southbound.

Old Orchard Beach explodes in population at this time of the year. I also call it South Quebec. It's a major tourist trap, amusement rides, condos, etc. I lived inland near the Saco town line, near the begin/end of the I-195 expressway (which leads to I-95/Maine Turnpike).

Both Wells and O.O.B. have limited Amtrak Downeaster service. The O.O.B. stop is seasonal. The Wells stop is year-round.

I see why.

Ridge (jet stream pushing north) is in central of the country into Canada.

While an Upper Low over Quebec not only causing the instability showers everywhere but the cold air as well... especially at the coast.
