Latest Euro 10:1. Still big for NYC south but man this could be a bust for CT now.

Wow.//look at that cutoff. That precip is just gonna hit a wall somewhere. Talk about a 50 mile change in direction changing everything.

New 18z NAM. Wow.

Danbury: 0.91" (8-10" snow)

Bridgeport: 1.67" (very marginal, temps at 5000' hover freezing for few hrs but still drops 6"+ of snow)

Hartford: 0.23" (2-3" snow)

I think NWS will lower the 12-18" down to 6-10".

Eh..the 12-18 may still happen in some places..84 corridor lower but overall didnt come as low as I thought it would.

Other funny thing about the Greenwich closure is for now the Board of Ed is staying open until noon.

In 2010 there is a snowstorm in which Philly thru DC got over a foot but the cutoff here was so sharp that parts of Staten Island got 3-4" yet no one else in NY City or state (including LI and certainly no one in CT) got anything! Talk about a close calll.....
