Who is ready for an early Spring? Just my gut feeling. I bet we'll be well above normal in Feb-March. Opposite last yr.

I dont think we'll get sustained cold anymore. Snow chances seem minimal after Tuesday. Ups and Downs mostly so timing has to be perfect for us. Unlike when we had arctic air sustained it was easier to get snow.

We'll see

Well if so you will at least have had your wish for a "front loaded" winter then...

The 1.64" at Hartford BDL yesterday (midnight to midnight) is a record for the Jan 12th date & 10th highest amount for month of Jan. Most in a day in January since 1987!

The 1.88" at Providence, RI also a record for the day and makes it the 12th largest 1 day precip total for January. Most in a day in January since 1992.

You guys who don't want snow got lucky. Could of been back to back big snowstorms like in 2010-11 when we got them every week!

The Old Farmer's Almanac has been on the money this entire winter. I'm simply amazed.

The Euro is little more moist for Tuesday. Over 1/4" qpf vs under 0.20". GFS too. Yeilds 4-8" snow. Clippers always die crossing the mountains but whats happening is a coastal storm may form. I think 2-4" is a good bet.

Plows and Shovels needed on Wednesday morning

NWS is seeing a brief warmup during Tuesday with the temps getting to near 40, enough that for the City, LI and southern Westchester they are now forecasting a period of RAIN (that is, snow to rain back to snow). I don't see it in the CT forecasts yet, but thought I would note.

It's certainly cold out! I was out last night imaging. Bundled up a bunch so didn't feel the cold. Winds were biting! Hoping that this stuff moves out of here. I really dislike it when it gets this cold.

At least we aren't Minneapolis? lol.
