That's what I'm talking about.

This happens every single time.

Well the "last day" change for most of Long Island is that we may get rain to significantly reduce the snow totals.

I don't know what to think. Part of me loves snow and would love a record breaking storm just like any weather junkie. But part of me is also glad to see rain because frankly I do not really feel like shoveling over a foot of snow!

Still, we are in late winter and this might be the last good chance for snow for a long time, so I would rather see a big snow.

Flurries on the ride home. Became bit more steadier as I headed further in and eventually turn to sleet.

3.5" here already. Another 10 hrs to go? Winds picking up too. Just wait till later.

At 5am 2.8" melted to 0.22". 13:1 ratios. Makes sense.

About an inch on the ground in the Old Saybrook area. Snowing lightly at the moment. Wind just beginning to pick up.

I'm watching the rain/snow line like a hawk. It's changing over further north than anyone thought this fast. I think report of ice on Eastern Long Island already.

We still got a lot more snow left to go in CT. Don't let guard down.

There's a crazy amount in New Fairfield already. I have gone out to measure because I'm still in my pajamas. But man is it piling up already March 14, 2017 BLIZZARD-img_2678.jpg
