Looks like some rain towards the end of the week. Kind of bummed this weather has been awesome, but the rain is needed. Hopefully allergies will be better and can finally breathe.

Top 10 warmest Septembers here we come?
on...and on....and on...

No End In Sight in this above normal pattern.

Only saving grace is sun angle lowering, getting dark earlier, averages are going down naturally. So above normal will be upper 70s soon. Still... just wont feel like fall for few days straight.

This just in from OKX:

"The temperature reached 90 degrees in Central Park at 12:26 PM. This makes for the second heat wave this month (three or more days with temperatures reaching or exceeding 90F). This is the first time on record in NYC with two separate heat waves in the month of September."

If it can get below 80 down there before midnight, the record streak of 80+ days may actually end! With more rain than originally forecast, they are saying 70s for all tomorrow!

But these same kids can run around outside all summer with no problem? Or do parents not allow that anymore?

I get it will be uncomfortable. I get their attention span may be compromised. But sheesh - shut schools down?

Front passed but needs till tomorrow to fully clear. Less than 1/4" of rain did nothing for roots. but good for the birds.

Don't get mad guys but.... the south will be colder then us this weekend for the lows.
