I believe Clinton Crossing and the outlets in Westbrook are the closest outlets and the Crystal Mall in Waterford is the closest mall.

The Crystal Mall in Waterford would be the closest to Essex. Jay

You have the Westbrook Outlets (J.Crew, Reebok, etc) The Clinton Crossing Outlet (Lauren, Hilfinger, Nike). Up in Watertown off 95 is the Crystal Mall (Macy's, Penny, Sears and Home Depot next door and a Lowes, Wal Mart and BJ the exit before on 95)The Farms in Farmington off Route 9 is the most upscale mall in CT. Nordstrom's, L&T, Talbot's, etc. There also is on in Meridan off 691 (don't bother lower than Crystal and Crystal is close and not bad. - a lot of milatary because of the Naval Base and Coast Guard Acd. which bothers a lot of my wife's liberal friends. Which annoys me as a retired Army Officer.
